Text: Ezekiel 47: 1-13 & Luke 15: 11-end.

Note: "This is not the exact words of the preacher!”

Ezekiel’s prophesy came to him while Israelites were in Babylon. The whole message is about God’s kingdom being restored not only through the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem but the main fulfillment would bring Christ-Jesus into the world.

In his vision, Ezekiel had a picture of a flowing droplets of water flowing  all over the courtyard down to the driver and at the river he was shown how the river will gradually fill him up.

It also reflects how the kingdom of God which is the river flowing would turn a bran place of existence into an oasis of life.

Luke 15: 11-end, reflects how the river starts to flow in a prodigal son who once squandered his share of his father’s inherence while his father still leaves and the following keynotes are the signs of what the river is capable of doing when it flows through us. The river will flow once we return to our heavenly father which is what is describe in the parable of the prodigal son:

The river:

* Spreads its hands around us (Embrace us).

* It accepts us the way we are.

* It forgives us.

* It’s an evidence of God’s generosity to us.

* It doesn’t condone or condemn us.

* It changes us and gives us a new beginning by washing away our dirty past.

Keynote:

“Jesus is the flowing river!”
