Text: Hebrews 11:6

To run a race is cumbersome depending on the kind of race you are into. I wouldn't want to talk about the kinds of race we have but I want to dwell on running the race of faith which is more taskfull than a race itself.

In a race, a winner is expected so also in the race of faith something is expected too; either physically or spiritually or both. The input of a runner is physical and so is its the reward but in the race of faith both physical and spiritual are the reward(s).

Hebrews 11:6 (N.I.V.): "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

The physical input for us as Christians in the race of faith is for us to come first believing in God about His existence so that we can delight him and the reward will surely follow.

The spiritual input for us as Christians in the race of faith is to believe. Belief is something that cannot be seen but can be converted into work through action of seeking to know God and God would be pleased in so doing.

A race drills us but faith elevates us to operate in the realm of God. God cannot function with humans expect we move up the ladder of our faith(spirit realm) in him.
