The series “The River” has come to a happy ending. Whatever that has a beginning usually most have an end. Only that the river of God that flows never come to an end because is not a physical water but the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit (The River) is a channel of finding our purpose in Christ in Jesus and bringing us to be heir to our Heavenly Father. Through Christ, we will not only live forever in peace and harmony but entitled to both internal and external inheritance.
Philip Quinn, brought a close to almost a year long series; reflecting on how the river flows out of the temple down to the Dead Sea bringing life to it and the sea is full of fish and forest of trees on the other side of the river. He continued; “It is a prophetic picture of the life that God brings by his gospel; of the kingdom of God coming………”
He elaborates that “it’s a picture of the garden of Eden coming again to earth. God’s perfect plan, intention and the way He wanted it to be, right at the beginning; that’s what he’s trying to install!”

ReplyDeleteHave you actually ever read the bible in a realistic context, for example, the beast rising sea: Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns. How does that not sound like the oil rigs rising from the sea in today plunder and natural resources and don't you think the metaphor of Noah is a little more in-depth than a man swallowed by a large fish and in the book of Ezekiel would you not say his vision is the vision of a landing craft to this world, think on it do beasts really rise from the sea, do you really think a monster with the head of a lion and the tail of s scorpion will appear, this reading is all metaphoric to the seer who sees them in visions, and I saw a new heaven is that not an explanation of an uncharted part of the skies otherwise known as heaven or space, do you really think a man swallowed up by a whale? these stories are metaphoric and when you read them in rhetoric or metaphor you will soon see their importance, I am not putting you down I am simply bringing to notice obvious facts, also the bible have over five hundred books discontinued, deleted or partially accounted for, it was me who brought you the rationalization and logic that in torrential storms all animals seek dry land so the metaphor of animals two by two is not that far off, however the story of the ark goes back long before biblical text some thousands of years and is originally credited to the repopulation of life on this world. I brought you these points not to disprove your belief but to let you see that you are not seeing the bible with clarity, additional points of note, 1, the representation of the number seven is not known as an even number but a spiritual number, 2, there are over five hundred books missing from the bible which are either discontinued, deleted or partly accounted for.
