ASK THE LORD'

"Then there was famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David inquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for Saul and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites" - (2 Samuel 21:1).
.
Whenever there is a long standing problem in your life or an issue that is inexplicable, the first thing to do is not to pray for solution but to ask God the cause of the problem. When the cause of a problem is known, it is very easy to pray for solution.
.
Who you ask concerning the problems of your life determines the kind of solution you will receive. Some people ask men of God to help them pray over their situation, it's somehow good but it doesn't make you grow spiritually and it's not all men of God that are genuine.
.
It is a sign of spiritual immaturity to seek mediums to hear from God. You can also hear God speak to you. David didn't depend on the prophet, he inquired from God. Asking God equates trusting in God, doing what you know signifies leaning on to your own understanding.
.
Why many die in their problems is because they asked the wrong person for solution to their problems.
.
One would have thought that David would have done all he knew when Ziklag was burnt down and his wives taken captive. But he went to inquire from the Lord on what to do and He answered him (1 Sam. 30).
.
It is when you ask the Lord what to do in your situation that the word of the Lord can come to you. And when He sends His word, it'll heal and deliver you from your destruction.
.
Have you asked the Lord concerning your barrenness, marital delay, academic stagnancy, failure, recurrent health issue or what have you?
.
Instead of seeking alternate cure, why not ask the Lord to reveal the cause and tell you what to do as Rebecca did? Instead of saying God's time is the best, why don't you ask the Lord? Instead of accepting fate, why not seek His face?
.
Remember, for everyone that ask receives and those who seek will find.
