Persistence in Prayers .

Have you imagined what it looks like to cut down a tree? You need to sharpen your tool (axe, cutlass or saw). More so, you need to stay focused on a particular position of the tree until you can drive your tool between the tree.
Hitting different points in the tree without staying focused will cause you more efforts and it will take a longer time in cutting the tree. But when you stay put, though it might seem nothing is happening but when you remain committed to the cutting process, sooner and later, you'll succeed.
This is what persistence in prayers does. Get the right weapon to use in fighting your battles. Be focused on that particular prayer point rather than say many prayers until something happens. Fight one battle at a time so you won't be overwhelmed for fighting many battles.
"Shall God not avenge his own elect that cries night and day, though He suffer long, I tell you, He'll answer them speedily" - Luke 18:7
"Ask and you shall receive that your joy be full" - John 16:24
