'PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE'.

"Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature; having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" - 2 Peter 1:4
.
Becoming partakers of the divine nature is not by wishful thinking or stuffing your head with the knowledge of God's nature, it is by doing something with the exceeding great and precious promises of God.
.
Remember, God's promises are not made perfect (complete) without us utilizing them. God wants you to be a partaker of His divine nature and you can only achieve that through His promises.
.
For instance, God's nature is that He doesn't fall sick or beg; He's wise and all-knowing and He is not weary and doesn’t faint.
.
Are you partakers of the divine nature as touching your health? Many won't walk in divine health because they don't ask. They are jealous of those who have it, sometimes they hate them or wish they have it or to consume it upon their lust but they fail to have it.
.
You can only authorize God's promises over your life when you ask in prayers. The only thing that God honors is His word (Ps. 138:2) even above His name. Men call God names based on their encounters with Him but He is committed to keeping His word.
.
Pick one or two promises that addresses your situation. Confess it night and day over your life because you're either justified or condemned by your words (Matt. 12:37). Meditate on it day and night and do what the word says.
.
Finally, pray those promises into your life and not your problems. Praying according to the will of God is to pray according to His promises. When you pattern your life according to His promises, you'll be partakers of the divine nature.
