FLAT TYRE.

A flat tyre according to Wikipedia is a deflated pneumatic tire, which can cause the rim of the wheel to ride on the tyre tread or the ground potentially resulting in loss of control of the vehicle or irreparable damage to the tyre and loss of vehicle could result into an accident which may be fatal.

This implies that car users should check their tyres if there will be need for replacement or pumping when deflated as no one can ride with a deflated or flat tyre, it will definitely go nowhere, some vehicles are abandoned as a result of this.

I know we are familiar with this flat tyre thing either you have a car or not so needless to go into long details of how to repair a deflated or flat tyre. Having said that, where then am I heading to?

It is not far-fetched, a flat tyre is likened to a bad character be it from a male or female, a bad character is nothing but a flat tyre that cannot go far or even anywhere. Permit me to say if you have a bad character, you will end up becoming a flat tyre!

Character is important in life because it defines what kind of person you are, it is the solid foundation on which a person’s entire life is based. Beauty, six packs, swags cannot keep a marriage going, but character can determine that.

Beauty quickly fades if the person who looks attractive does not have the personality and behaviour to go with it. A beautiful face will one day become a face full of wrinkles. The once well rounded breast will someday become saggy and unattractive but a sound character remains relevant!

How can you be so disrespectful and except someone who will respect you? Courtesy is far from you, you finds it difficult to give, care or choose words and you expect a perfect person?

It doesn’t work that way, you will definitely attract who you are. It is time to repair this flat tyre called character. Learn how to be subtle in choosing your words, be humble, kind and hospitable, respect is important and a smile will lighten you up. All these are not only because of marriage but also because of your own integrity.

Character goes deep into how you dress, manage people and who you are when no one is there.

Why are you waiting for an elderly person to greet you first before you do so, and even when such eventually ignore your attitude and greet, you still find it difficult to greet?

Pride it is called and it will take you no where because even God sees the proud from afar and give grace to the humble. Don't forget that it is this grace you need to run your race!

I saw this line somewhere and I edited it, ‘Character is the tree and habits are the seeds you sow which you will reap. If you invest in good habits, you will reap character and if you invest in character you will reap destiny’!

How much are you investing in character? Remember, beauty fades but character will not, inner beauty is pretty, invest in it, it will define you and also define how people will treat you.
