Random Etiquettes 3.

As much as this article applies to everyone, I want those who have been called to the Light to please take note with all seriousness. You have been made a light and so you must show this light everywhere and in everything you do, don't forget I said this is also to everyone.
.
I'll be hitting the nail on the head as much as possible, please bear with me as we need to trash out this issue.
.
Indecent dressing is not only when you wear revealing clothes, it is also when you dress shabbily; taking care of your body is and will continue to be godly. Our motto should be modesty and not unkempt look, your smile, composure, and sitting position is highly important.
.
Sisters, please choose your camisole and bra based on the cloth you're wearing. Wearing camisole or tube is to avoid revealing bra, body and breast when it’s a transparent cloth like chiffon, don't therefore choose a colour that will announce it.
.
Please use mouth spray or chew mint gum if you have mouth odour, button up neatly, have good hair styles/haircut.
.
Next to this is character. Your character makes you, it defines you, you are not to fit in, you are to stand out in this world.
.
I will choose respect under this, the level of disrespect in Christendom is alarming, and that you can chat with an elderly person should not give room for disrespect! Words like ‘hey’ ‘sup’ ‘hiya’ and so on are not meant for someone who is obviously elderly and someone you do not know. Start with pleasantries, introduce yourself if it’s the first time chatting and continue with the discussion. Courtesy is important!
.
Do not be boastful, arrogant or loud - always exercise restraint, you cannot just call some persons by their name even when you feel you are in the same age range let alone younger. Be humble and show respect, it doesn’t hurt, it only shows your sound character (1Pet.5:5).
.
Before speaking to others consider what effect your words will have. Don't say thoughtless, unkind words, pause and weigh your words carefully and say them in the right manner. Be hospitable and friendly, always say, “Thank you” - this is a way of praising others and one of the keys of good manners; not forgetting “Excuse me”, “Please”, “You are welcome”.
.
Be thankful for any deed no matter how small it may be. Respect people's time and be punctual; when you give your word or promise something, try to fulfill it or explain to the person involved why you cannot fulfill it at the agreed time. I will stop here for now, you can check my blog for other etiquettes.
.
Remember, good manners they say, will open doors that the best education cannot and I will say good manners will open doors that the best education, beauty, wealth, swags cannot, be a light in all you do.
