PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE 2.

If God had to take some time to prepare before making the woman who is the man's helpmeet, and He did not opt for the microwave method then we are to go through preparatory stage too. God remains the greatest match maker of all time...Count your cost and weigh your options

There are various areas of preparation, let’s consider some;
.
1. Spiritual Preparation: Friends no foundation can a man lay than that which Jesus has laid, everything that happens in the physical is an offshoot of what has happened in the spiritual. God still speaks, you have to seek his face, stay in your spirit life to find your spouse. Men, stay in your garden of Eden which God has placed you and women, let God have you first so as to give you, stay in your purpose, do your spiritual work. No pastor can do it enough for you neither can a prophet do, please prepare spiritually first, that is the first and foundational preparation where the other kind of preparation would find relevance. God reveals all about your intended spouse in the spirit realm, because in that realm nothing can be hidden for everything happens from there.

2. Financial preparation: the family go chop o, you would need to get accommodation and all these demands money. Please what work are you doing to bring in money to the family, even in ministry, there is an entrepreneurship side to every calling. Women, be financially prudent to help and support your man like my wife smiles. A man should be financially prepared before going in.

3. Emotional preparation: You have to increase your capacity to handle pressure, increase your capacity to love and forgive, please deal with your anger issues. I want to beg, do not enter into marriage with someone who hasn’t dealt with his or her anger, he/she can be angry and break the TV today and tomorrow it may be your head because this rampant issue of beating spouse all emanated from anger issues. Pray about it, visit counsellors if need be because anger is a devilish spirit but it can be sent away. Prepare yourself emotionally!

4. Mental preparation: Work on your mental capacity and faculty, speak right grammar if you are a literate, develop yourself academically, be sound and if otherwise you can still develop yourself, don’t be dull or sluggish, be able to speak intelligently.

5. Physical preparation: Do not be too spiritual to ignore physical appearance, work on yourself and be fit, let laziness be far from you. Check your genotype and blood group, it is also important. Be open to each other about your health status, any infection you had or having should be discussed so that you can both work on treating it and even pray if need be. Please be physically prepared.

In conclusion, there are also preparation tools that can help your preparations such as; Bible, inspirational and relationship books, prayer and fasting, seminar, workshops, tapes and cd, Christian movies, videos, etc. do not forget that all these tools are very vital in your preparation process.
