We all have a destiny, an assignment to be fulfilled, a particular glory assigned for your uplifting but some things can affect it, part of which is relationship.

The person you choose to spend the rest of your life with can make or mar your destiny, believe me. We shall consider some types of relationships that can affect your destiny.

1. Relationship with an unbeliever
.
The Bible warns against being unequally yoked in 2 Cor. 6:14. That verse simply means, “Don't become partners with those who reject God." Once you confess Christ and accept Him, you move from darkness into light, you become a city that is set on the hill. Hence, entering into a permanent seal with someone still in darkness will only do more harm than good.

2. Relationship without God
.
Yes, you're both believers but did you involve God from the beginning? A good believer in your eye may not be the good choice God has for you and may alter your destiny.

3. Sexual Relationship
.
'Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled' (Heb. 13:4a) A relationship involving sex is obviously not getting a thumbs up from God and sex still remains a powerful tool in the hand of the devil to thwart so many destinies.

4. Self imposed relationship
.
It seems waiting for the right person is going to be forever, hope deferred is now making the heart weak and you go for your own choice. This is really a costly mistake, ask those that are in this situation, if they will tell you the truth, they will tell you its hell. Let God take the lead so that your choice won't destroy you.

5. Rushed Relationship.
.
Rushing into a relationship to avoid 'loneliness' or 'singlehood' or because everyone around you seems to be in one is another thing that affects some destinies. Do not allow anybody to make you do what you are not mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually prepared for. Many promising relationships are destroyed for lack of intelligent foresight, misplaced ideology about male/female sexuality, and abuse of human intimacy. Never rush into a relationship or you will rush out but remember you can't be the same again going out!

6. Unseen Relationship

Yes, they exist. These are more of spiritual bondages, spirit husband/wives, masturbation, pornography, sex dreams and the likes are all connections that can destroy your glorious destiny.

This is not just an article, it is an awareness for prayer, to discover and recover whatever you have lost. You're going to cry and say Father, deliver me, remove me from every relationship known or unknown that can destroy my destiny, set me free and help me to follow your lead always.
