The church sermon that changed my life: Enemies.

Preacher: Philip Quinn.

Topic: Enemies.

Address: Cornerstone Church, Uptown-4, De Beer Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Prayer line: 011 616 4073.

 Website:  www.cornerstonechurch.co.za

Text: Psalm 59.

Note: "This is not the exact words of the preacher!”

It is in our best interest to be open to God and straight forward for our weakness.

David analogs his enemies with dogs because of their abilities to hurt people, wickedness and ruthlessness.

Those who trust in the Lord would look down on their enemies not because of their strength, power and ability of war but because God is mighty.

The attitude of David changed. His condition brings forth internal strength to face his enemies.

Sometimes God will not kill your enemies instantly but will give you the ability to deal with your enemies through the strength to carry on.

Even at a time of trial and tribulation; David cannot control his fear and decided to run away to the extent that he pretended to be nuts and went to his former enemy for help!

Keynote:

“Don’t stop trusting God!”
