5 STEPS TO RECEIVING FROM THE LORD.

During a closing section of a meeting as men in a church setting; it dawn me as we pray to close the session for the year 2018.

Earlier in the meeting everyone was asked to share two important things they are thankful for in the year and what they look forward to in the new year.

We all did the exercise as stated by the moderator of the meeting and the spirit of God communicated stating that there are sometimes a process we have to go through before receiving from the Lord as believers and here below they are stated:

1.WAIT: The period of waiting is not an idle one. It helps us to persevere as a good character that we need to get what we need. Doesn't necessarily mean we al have to wait to get an answer to what we ask from God but most times we all do need to wait if the time is not right.

2.HOPE: Hope tests our faith, help to build our heart and bring us to focus on God to ultimately bring our life foundation only on God.

3.BELIEVE: This step is very important as it solidifies us a child of Christ because we only now look unto God and nothing else.

4.TRUST: Trusting God is the ultimate. It means we are not looking back even if everything fails and the world is crushing down.

5.ACTION: This is where God needs you; the waiting is over. You need to act in faith and receive both in the spiritual and physical.

Everything doesn't lie with God as you need to do your part for your to appreciate the process and the blessings that follow.
