HOW TO FRATERNIZE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV)

When a man of God shared his experience with the Holy Spirit, everyone who does not have the spiritual understanding to grasp the truth of his possibility to have shared a tea with Him tongue-lashed him.
At first, I almost refuted his claim, but when I had an understanding of what it means to commune with Him, I had a paradigm shift.
The Holy Spirit is a person, but very invincible to the natural and carnal mind. Only those who have koinonia with Him can enjoy His supernatural encounters.
Kathryn Khulman was said to have an enviable relationship with Him because she understood certain things about Him which can be summed up in these three things that I'd share with you, and they are:
1. PLACE
There's a place to fellowship with the Holy Spirit and it's never limited to the four walls of your church; it's called the SECRET PLACE.
God dwells in a secret place and those who would fellowship with Him must have a secret place. The first secret place must be within the chamber of your heart in a sanctified vessel - body.
If you've not fully yielded your body to Him as a living sacrifice, which is holy and acceptable, it'll be impossible to fellowship with Him in the secret place.
Next, you must find a secret place to commune with Him where you can be alone. It can be in your bedroom, study, or a place to retreat. Jesus was found of retiring to a solitary place. Do you have a secret place?
2. TIME
It has been said that wooing the Holy Spirit is like courting a woman. Men love to hunt, and women love to be chased. But it takes time to win the love of a real woman, and this is equally true of Him.
It might take you years to win His love; this is dependent on the degree of your yieldedness and alignment. Meanwhile, you need to invest both the quality and quantity of time as you seek to fraternize with Him.
3. COMMUNICATE FREQUENTLY
God speaks, but He's not talkative.
Do you know that frequent communication is both the lifeblood and oxygen of a relationship? Without communication, intimacy in a relationship suffers a loss.
You need to engage Him in your daily routine, being conscious of His presence, and to depend on Him. This is the hallmark of putting your trust in God.
Dearly beloved, the Holy Spirit is real, but He's only closer to those draw closer to Him in their secret place, they commune with Him frequently and are fond of staying in the secret place to spend time with Him - away from distractions.
Remember, the communion of the Holy Spirit is with you, but do you have time and a place for Him in your life? Think about it!
Are there benefits in having communion with Him? Oh yeah, several of them. You'd always walk in the Spirit, and never fulfill the lust of the flesh. More so, you'd be at command, and not a victim of circumstances.
Lastly, your communion with the Holy Spirit makes God closer to you, and heaven becomes real to you.
