People who get paid for their time would use the pastor's time and won't bother giving him any thing.
People who charges for their services would engage the pastor's service and leaving him empty handed.
To consult a lawyer is costly.
To consult a doctor is expensive.
To consult other consultant from various careers take money from your pocket.
But to consult a pastor: you harden yourself from giving him anything because he is the only one with a career fit to be abused.
The pastor has a parents, a wife, children, and other responsibilities like you.
Yet he abandoned other careers and spent his entire life praying and fasting and kneeling for you that you might experience the fullness of life that God has provided for you.
And what does he get in return from you? Nothing.
You keep using the pastor; abusing his time by not paying for the time.
He has set out to serve you without charge and you are determined to use him till he is useless to his families and friends.
He posts devotional to help you study God's word.
He sends prayers to help you through you daily challenges.
He stopped eating when he receives your SOS.
Yet you don't consider him worthy to eat of your carnal things?
You are the reason many are discouraged and quitting the ministry.
You are the reason they deviated from the faith.
You are the reason they started doing things diabolical.
You are that pastor who has been faithful in teaching you God's word.
Praying for you.
Fasting for you.
What have you done for him?
Write your pastors now and thank them, if you have nothing to give.
Send them things now.
Appreciate your pastor today.
Don't take them for granted.
Being a pastor is a job everyone knows how it should be done but no one is doing. Appreciate those who wake early and sleep late just for your sakes.
