The Other Side of Marriage

Adam and Eve were happily married in the garden of Eden. Theirs was a marriage everyone envied. They were both naked and unashamedly knitted as one flesh.

Because of the oneness in marriage, Adam wasn’t ashamed to leave his father and mother to cleave to his wife. He loved her, and she submitted herself to him.

Alas! Their much-envied marriage became a sad tale when they allowed a third party to rip off their oneness. 

Here comes the stranger who told the woman to eat the forbidden fruit. She ate it, and with a woman’s influence, he had no other choice than to eat what she gave him.
