FAITH AND WORKS (3)

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (James 2:26 KJV).

Today, we shall talk about the workings of faith to receive your expected miracle.

Of all those who received their miracles without Jesus coming to them, as a Bible student, you'll agree with me that Jesus' response to them is usually like this: "Thy faith makes you whole."

Was it just faith that made them whole without having an encounter with Jesus?

The centurion told Jesus, "Speak your word only and my servant shall be healed." The woman with the issue of blood said, "If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole." For Bartimaeus Timaeus, he cried, "Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me." What did you want, He asked. "That I may receive my sight." And the rest is history.

How did these people get to that point?

The workings of faith are primarily inspired by God, coupled with your understanding, desire, and cooperation. Faith alone won't get you what you need, you must add work to it.

For instance, a man who's trusting God for a job, but fails to apply for a job will remain unemployed.

God has given each of us a measure of faith. A man may pray for 3 hours to receive his miracle, while another one may only apply the principle of giving. All you need to do is to ask Him to reveal what you need to do to get your desired miracle.

Mind you, your expectation is not negotiable. You can't receive anything from God if you have no expectations or you're in doubt. Let faith rise in your inside, and ask God to show you which work to do to get your miracle.

I call you blessed.
