DON'T SEEK; STRIVE

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able" (Luke 13:24, KJV)

The gateway into the kingdom of God is not a rollercoaster ride, it's a place where only those who are brewed with resilience, violence (spiritually forceful or striving), and intentional will find their way into it.

We are commanded to strive, not just seek it. It is the strait gate that leads to the narrow way which leads to life, but only a few have found it.

Are you striving on daily basis to enter into life?

You must strive to enter into it because it is not for the cold or lukewarm believer. It is not for those who want to enjoy the world and serve the Lord. It is not for those who want to serve God and mammon.

It is only for those who have counted the cost and are willing to lay down their all for the Lord. It is for those who will carry their cross to follow Him, not just followers of men. If it was the kingdom of God Apostle Paul and others pressed into, we can't be careless or do lesser than what they did.

In striving to enter into the kingdom, you must be spiritually violent, although physically gentle as a dove and mentally wise as a serpent. You must strive against the forces of sin, Satan, and self.

Those who strove to enter into it do not entangle themselves with the affairs of this life, but they're looking up to Him and mindful of storing their treasures up where economic rot cannot affect them.

This is the time to be more intentional if we want to enter His kingdom (both on earth and in heaven). Don't just seek to enter in, strive (be deliberate and ready to pay the price).
